David Smith´s interviews about Open Space

David Smith surprises us with this message in teh OSLIST:

Dear Open Spacers,
I have now uploaded lightly edited, but otherwise complete versions of the seven interviews I did at Marysville in 2002.

I understand these may be used in a professional capacity by OS facilitators which is fine by me. I was paid a small amount by the OS Board to cover theshoot, back in the day, but not any of the extensive post-production. If anyone felt moved to make a small contribution to help cover my costs in preparing these videos I would be most grateful. Any payments could be made to my PayPal account via my email below.
Best to all
David

Fioritures (Garri Bardin)

Arno Baltin says un the OSLIST to The Question by Dan Mezick what follows, and shares this video...
Hi!
OST is way of re-opening the space. The space is always open, before people arrive to the scene. When they arrive, they build the fences. Then the need to re-open the space emerges as people feel bad behind the fences. Then the OST is invented to fulfil this task.
Be well!

Democratic Education

Christopher Macrae sent to the OSLIST this videos and interesting link:
an EEL comes to Brooklyn.

Then Brett Barndt ads:
"Thorstein Veblen is good about this topic. His 1918 books is called The Higher Learning in America: A Memorandum on the Conduct of Universities by Business Men. It reflects the dependence of our universities on money in our system. Maybe a mutual credit money system would result in a different outcome. These new types of credit exchange systems are being explored now, mostly in Europe."
